Nursery have been learning all about the letter "S". The children have been reading Miss Spider's Tea Party, and on Friday 27th September, they will be having their own tea party. The children will be having a selection of sandwiches, spaghetti, skips, squash and sponge cake.
Children are welcome to wear their own clothes.
Mr Cooze is leaving us today, after 5 years of working at Gwyrosydd School.

We'd like to remind everyone about parking considerately around our school. Please consider the safety of ALL CHILDREN, and our neighbours right to get on and off their drive, or park outside their own house.
If you park on the double yellow lines or zig zags, you are putting your own child and all other children at risk.
This morning the camera car has been around filming parents who are parked illegally. These parents will be receiving fines. We never know when the camera car will be visiting, so you should always think carefully about where you are parking/ dropping your children off.
If you see someone parked illegally, please send an email directly to car.parks@swansea.gov.uk. The more complaints they receive, the more likely they are to send the camera car around.
Please don't say you haven't been advised.
We have been very fortunate to have been awarded a grant from the "Dan Maskell Tennis Trust" this year. The grant will cover the supply of tennis equipment, as well as a number of lessons for Miss Driver's class.
I wonder if any of our children could possibly become a future Wimbledon Champion?
Order forms have gone out for this year's Y6 leavers' hoodie. As you may already know, the colour chosen was the royal blue. Deadline for orders is Friday 13th September - please send in payment with your orders. Hopefully the jumpers will be in school before October half term.
