Summer Term 1  - 2024!

 

We had a great time when 'Mad Science' visited us back in April 🧪🧫🔥💧It was a brilliant start to our 'Spells & Potions' topic! Following on from this we carried out several investigations of our own 👨‍🔬👩‍🔬, we used Coke & Mentos for one and Skittles and hot water for another. We were thrilled with the results! 😲😃
We made wands using natural objects in the outdoor environment🪄, wrote detailed recounts 📝, carried out a numeracy challenge to make potions using millilitres and litres 🧪, sent Mrs M and one another emails 👨🏻‍💻👩🏼‍💻, and finished the half term by breaking the rules by having a disco in class instead of story time! 🤪🕺💃
All in all a successful half term!
